Fred B. Amos II aka Tuey (pronounced two-e)

First, an explanation of the name. Tuey is named after his father, Fred B. Amos of High Point, NC. Not wanting his son to be called Junior, Fred Amos decided that Tuey would be given the suffix “II” instead of “Jr.” From birth everyone in the family called him “Two.” Around the age of one, one of his grandmothers came up with the name “Tuey,” and it stuck. If you ever visit his office, you can even see Tuey’s Pre-School diploma (A Bachelor of Rhymes) stating his name “Tuey Amos.” Born in High Point, NC, Tuey Amos has been a Raleigh resident since moving to Raleigh to attend N.C. State University in 1988. After earning his undergraduate degree from N.C. State, Tuey went on to earn his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Campbell University Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. After graduating from law school and business school in 1998, Tuey joined the law firm of Warren, Perry & Anthony, PLLC in Wake Forest, NC. After four years with the firm, Tuey started his own law practice in Wake Forest under the name Fred B. Amos II, PA. In 2004 Tuey partnered with attorney John Rich to form the law firm of Amos & Rich, Attorneys, PA. In 2006, after the loss of his mother to pancreatic cancer, Tuey moved himself and his law practice to Downtown Raleigh where he met his beautiful wife Leslie , a 2011 graduate of N.C. Central School of Law practicing Divorce and Family Law for this firm. Together Tuey and Leslie formed the firm of Amos & Amos, Attorneys at Law, PA. Over his fifteen plus year career, Tuey has practiced in many areas of law, such as business entity formation, criminal defense, family law, real estate transactions, traffic law, wills and trusts, and various other matters. The firm now focuses on Divorce and Family Law. Tuey is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association – Family Law Section, the Tenth Judicial District Bar, the Wake County Bar Association and is a proud member of the Wolfpack Club. Tuey and his wife, Leslie, have three children, Skye, Kaia and Raiden, and live in beautiful Historic Oakwood in Downtown Raleigh. When not practicing law, Tuey enjoys playing with his children and working on renovations to the family’s 110 year old home.
